2-Day In-Service Pilot Seminar on Freedom of Expression for Administrative Judiciary

“2-day In-service Pilot Seminar on Freedom of Expression” was held for the administrative judiciary on 19-20 January in Ankara. The trainers who delivered the training were those who participated in the training of trainers for administrative judiciary which was organised after the training modules used for the ordinary justice was adapted according to the administrative justice.
68 judges and prosecutors who work at the Council of State attended the two-day pilot seminar. The seminar included the sessions on “National and International Standards on Freedom of Expression related Administrative Procedure and Acts, Scope of Freedom of Expression, Conditions for Restricting Freedom of Expression and Writing a Reasoned Judgment”.
This pilot implementation has provided guidance for the future in-service trainings that will be organised for the administrative judiciary.
